If I had 2 potential prospects for you to talk to... One that is busy and not sure what they want... Or someone who is actively looking for your product or services...

If I had 2 potential prospects for you to talk to... One that is busy and not sure what they want... Or someone who is actively looking for your product or services...

Which would you want to talk to?

Which one is more likely to buy?

The other day, I had someone contact me who wanted to generate more leads... The problem was they didn't have a lot of time, so they wanted a way that was more passive.

What was my answer?

SEO

Search engine optimization is considered the “Holy Grail” of advertising.

Search engine users are some of the most target leads you can get.

An active seeker for your product or services and then your website pops up… It’s the most Passive form of marketing you can do...

If you send out a regular ad which is called "Push Marketing" because it pushes your message in front of people... Whether it’s an ad in print, over the airways, or even on social media... 98% of the people who see it don't care and the 1 or 2% who do... will have to see it how many times before they remember, let alone act on it.

That's why traditional advertising is so expensive.

But on the other hand, having your website show up in front of an active searcher looking for your product or services, has got to be one of the most awesome advances in marketing since the telephone.

I could fill this post up with charts and statistics but the bottom line is that unless people see your website, it’s not doing you much good.

And if your website is not on the 1st Page of the search results than it doesn’t exist.

Most businesses just send people directly to their website which makes it a glorified brochure. And that has its place but really isn’t taking advantage of its full potential.

Unfortunately, too many people that contact me don't understand the SEO process or what is really involved.

THE 2 CHALLENGES WITH ORGANIC SEO

  1. SEO is a long term process. It’s a marathon not a sprint. If you need results today you’re out of luck. Results are not instant and search updates can take time.
  2. SEO is not cheap. It takes experience. If you find it for cheap, more than likely you are not getting good SEO.

The beautiful part is that when you do get SEO right... it’s the “Holy Grail” of advertising!

Active seekers who are looking for your product or services... and they can find you 24/7 on autopilot!

SEO is an investment in your business... Time to invest!
